8 Effective Natural Remedies Against Blackheads

Every single woman in the world desires to have nice, clean and shiny skin, but acne and blackheads often get in the way. The cosmetic products and treatments on the market aren’t really effective and they can be expensive as well, but luckily, there are numerous natural remedies that will help you get rid of the problems. Here are the 8 best:

1. Lemon, honey and sugar peeling

Get a half lemon and coat it in a honey, then sprinkle some sugar on top and rub the affected areas with the mixture. Repeat the process once a week for best results.

2. Vaseline and plastic wrap

This is an effective treatment against blackheads which works best after a shower when your pores are open. First of all you should put a little bit Vaseline on the affected areas. After that put some plastic wrap and cover everything with a warm towel. Leave it all to cool down and remove it. Remove the excess Vaseline with a napkin, squeeze the blackheads gently and rinse with soap and water. Repeat the treatment once or twice a month.

3. Coconut, lemon, lavender and tea tree oil mask

Put ¼ of a cup of coconut oil in a glass jar and microwave it for 10 seconds, then add 10 drops of lemon, lavender and tea tree oil each and mix well. Apply the mixture on the affected areas with a cotton ball in the morning after washing your face and the blackheads will disappear soon.

4. Cinnamon and oatmeal peeling

Mix a teaspoon of oatmeal and cinnamon powder, then add some warm water and mix until you get a homogenous mixture. Use the mixture as a peeling on the affected areas, then rinse with cold water in the end. Repeat the process twice a month for best results.

5. Activated charcoal and green clay mask

Here’s a great detoxifying facial mask – mix ½ a teaspoon of activated charcoal with a teaspoon of green clay and ½ a teaspoon of warm water, then apply the mask on the affected areas and leave it to dry. Rinse with cold water in the end, and repeat the process once a week.

6. Coconut oil and coffee grounds peeling

Mix ½ a cup of coconut oil with the same amount of coffee grounds, then rub the mixture on the affected areas gently. Leave the peeling to work for 5 minutes, then rinse with cold water and repeat the treatment once a week for best results. If you prepare a bigger amount, freeze the mixture in a muffin tray.

7. Oats, honey, yogurt and olive oil mask

Mix ¼ of a cup of oats with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, yogurt and honey each in a blender, then massage your face with the mixture for a couple minutes. Rinse with warm water in the end and repeat the process once or twice a week.

8. Sugar, honey, coconut oil and vanilla extract peeling

Mix ¼ of a cup of white sugar with ¼ of a cup of brown sugar and ¼ of a cup of olive oil, then mix well before adding a tablespoon of honey and ½ a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Use the peeling on the affected areas once a week and you will get rid of your blackheads.
